Time for another very scientific poll: do you & your love exchange gifts?

And if so…. What type? Surprises? Stockings? A joint purchase, say, for the house? Many gifts? Buy something yourself, wrap it & they sign the card?  Come on, quit pretending you don’t do that. Don’t get me started on those who SNEAK A PEEK!  Ya I’m looking at you.

Jeff & I quit exchanging gifts the year Jocey was born. And we don’t miss it. If either of us wants or needs something, we buy it. Through the year I may see a shirt or whatever Jeff would like, so I’ll just give it to him then.  But now that the kids are older, THEY ask we exchange gifts.  And I’m seeing all these fab gift guides so now I’m wanting to get my shop on. What does your relationship look like when it comes to gifting?

And can we discuss how mom’s get saddled with buying all the gifts for the entire family? How many shocked dad faces on Christmas morning because it’s a total surprise to them what we bought? Christmas is a PILE of work. That and travel stress me out the most.

I would love to hear about a husband who buys the gifts.  Please, he must be out there? I would like to meet him, shake his hand. And adopt him for the holidays!
